Andrew Crowe

Andrew Crowe is the SVP of Business Development for Sightline Payments, with over 30 years of global payments experience including card issuing, merchant acquiring, and processing solutions for the regulated gaming and lottery industries.

Previously, he served as VP of Market Development for Worldpay Gaming, building out new market verticals, with an emphasis on the North American Lottery industry. Prior to this, he was VP of Payments and iLottery Business Development for IGT Global Solutions, where he launched the US lottery industry’s first integrated player card prepaid program and established and managed payment processing for the first internet lottery sales platforms in the US. Before joining IGT, Andrew held various product strategy and management positions across such industry leaders as Mastercard and JPMorgan Chase.

Wendy Anderson

As Caribbean Government Relations and Business Development Representative for Gaming Laboratories International (GLI®), José Carlos Figueroa maintains relationships with GLI’s regulatory clients and gaming suppliers. Figueroa delivers quality presentations on gaming regulation processes and procedures. He is also responsible for drafting policies, legislation, and regulations. Additionally, Figueroa performs on-site inspections of gaming equipment, gaming systems, and associated components to verify compliance with applicable regulatory requirements.

Before joining GLI, Figueroa served as Deputy Gaming Director for the Puerto Rico Tourism Company (PRTC). In this role, he evaluated, supervised, and coordinated the activities of the Gaming Division Fiscalization Area. This included the implementation of regulations and electronic games, investigations, licensing, and compliance programs. He developed new technology processes and training programs and approved technical standards for slot machines, gaming systems, and electronic devices operating in Puerto Rican casinos. Additionally, Figueroa developed and implemented guidelines for auditing slot machines, slot systems, and network assessments.

Figueroa also served as licensing supervisor and gaming officer overseeing the operations of the PRTC’s Enterprise and Employee License Unit. In this capacity, he developed and supervised investigations on license applications and casino franchise violations. Figueroa also analyzed changes to and implementation of casino internal controls and standard operating procedures. He also was a project manager for the development of gaming regulations and business intelligence applications of the Gaming Division. Additionally, he was the liaison between the Gaming Division and U.S. and international gaming jurisdictions.

Previously, Figueroa was an accounting officer and emergency management coordinator for Hotel Development Corporation. He was responsible for the full accounting cycle for the corporation and its hotels. He also validated and reviewed new project feasibility studies. Additionally, he coordinated with government and law enforcement agencies and municipalities in the event of an emergency.

Figueroa majored in Accounting at the University of Puerto Rico, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration. He also holds certifications from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas in financial background investigation techniques, slot analysis, and Sports Betting.  Additionally, he is certified by FEMA as a Community Emergency Response Teams (CERT).

Sebastian Vivot

Richard Bayliss

Richard is a Senior Regulatory Affairs and Compliance Manager at Playtech focusing on Playtech’s B2B business. He is part of Playtech’s safer gambling team and works with Product teams to develop innovative products and services that deliver greater protection for consumers. He also works closely with other gambling businesses and gambling support services to raise standards in the industry and make gambling safer. Richard also supports Playtech’s compliance function, utilizing his technical expertise to ensure the business meets high standards of compliance in regulated markets. Prior to joining Playtech, Richard spent 11 years at the Gambling Commission where he led the Commission’s online gambling team in developing the framework for online gambling regulation in Britain.

Seth Palansky

I possess multifaceted expertise in Corporate Communications, Media Relations, Crisis Communications, Social Media Strategy and as a Company Spokesperson.
I am skilled in establishing, nurturing and maintaining relationships at all levels, including at C-Suite level of U.S. corporations – including the NFL, News Corp and Caesars.

✓ One of a dozen equity owners at CIE; a start-up built into a business that sold for $4.4 billion in 2016.

✓ Launched CIE social media channels and grew to hundreds of thousands of followers.

Chantal Cipriano

Position: Senior Director, Legal & Compliance at Mazooma

Senior Director of Legal & Compliance with Mazooma, a fintech company providing payment solutions for online gambling operators across the globe.

Previously, I was an Associate Lawyer in the Toronto office of the international law firm Dickinson Wright, providing strategic legal advice to clients in highly regulated industries. My practice primarily focused on advising clients involved in land-based and online gambling of the requirements related to licensing, compliance and governance, and risk mitigation.

I am a published author of the Canada chapter for LexisNexis’ Gaming Law and Practice Book, Chambers and Partners’ Gaming, Gambling and Licensing Practice Guide for Canada, and various articles in gaming publications. I am also an adjunct professor with the University of New Hampshire, teaching its Global Regulation of Sports Betting Course under their Sports Wagering and Integrity Certificate Program. I speak at various conferences worldwide and have provided commentary to media outlets such as The Globe and Mail and the National Post, on the potential legalization of single-event sports betting in Canada.

Dr. Laila Mintas

Position: CEO at PlayUp US

Dr. Mintas is a C-Level Executive and serves as an independent advisor in the sports and technology industry, including the sports betting, digital sports, and fan engagement sector. Her focus is on the use of emerging technologies and developments and how those are changing sports, society, and consumer behavior and lead to new revenue streams.

She is a global thought leader on sports data, sports betting legislation, regulation, and sports integrity with speaker engagements around the world including Europe, Australia, North America, Central America, and Asia. She published more than 100+ legal publications in the top academic and professional journals about sports betting and sports law. She serves as Guest Professor at several Universities such as Columbia University NYC, St John’s University NYC, the University of New Hampshire, and Humboldt University Berlin/Germany on topics such as Sports Law and Sports Integrity.

Dr. Mintas received for her personal achievements the Leaders in Sports U 40 Award, the SBJ Game Changers Award, and the International Award for Women in the Gaming Industry – Inspiration of the Year 2018. She was named one of 25 executives to watch in 2019 by the Global Gaming Business GBB magazine, selected as SBJ´s Power Player Sports Betting 2019 and Business Insider´s Leaders of the Sports Betting Industry 2019.

Dr. Mintas is a lawyer by trade. Over the last years, she served as the Deputy President of Sportradar US, the global technology company that is the leader in analyzing and leveraging the power of sports data. She managed 350+ employees with offices in New York, Minneapolis, Menlo Park, and San Francisco. During that time, Sportradar was valued at $2.4 Bn USD. Sportradar applies technologies such as machine learning and artificial intelligence to drive data insights on a variety of business verticals for the creation of unique experiences across platforms in real-time.

She is experienced in managing high-level relationships with league partners in the US such as NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB, NASCAR, MLS, CONCACAF, and several others on a global level including FIFA and UEFA and with clients such as Google, Facebook, Twitter, ESPN, Sports Illustrated, AP, Yahoo, Deutsche Bank, Allianz, DraftKings, FanDuel, etc.

Dr. Mintas previously worked several years at the international law firm White & Case LLP in Berlin, Germany, and specialized i.a. in Sports Law, Gambling Law, Compliance, and Litigation. She wrote her Ph.D. in Betting via the Internet in Europe which became a well-recognized book in its field. Previously, she was the Head of Legal and Head of International Development for FIFA’s Early Warning System (FIFA EWS) in Zurich, Switzerland and the first Director of Sports Integrity at CONCACAF, the governing body for Soccer in North America, Central America, and the Caribbean is responsible for all 41-member countries including the US, Canada, and Mexico. In both positions, at FIFA and at CONCACAF, Dr. Mintas used data to prevent, detect, investigate, and sanction match manipulations in sports that are linked to sports betting.

Daniel Bernard

Matt Davey

Position: President & CEO at Tekkorp Capital LLC

Matt Davey has been active for over 25 years within the digital media, sports, entertainment, leisure and gaming ecosystems, with additional specialist experience in government and regulatory roles. He is an experienced public company executive officer who has overseen more than ten mergers and acquisitions and over $1.2 billion in debt and equity capital raised to support the companies he has led.

Most recently, Mr. Davey was CEO of SG Digital, the digital division of Scientific Games Corp. (“Scientific Games”) (Nasdaq: SGMS). SG Digital was established following the $631m purchase in 2018 by Scientific Games of NYX Gaming Group Ltd (“NYX”) (formerly TSXV: NYX), where Mr. Davey served as CEO.

As CEO of NYX, Mr. Davey developed and executed a corporate strategy that generated strong revenue growth. He shaped company strategy to focus on digital gaming supplier platforms and content that provided myriad gaming operators with the underlying gaming and sports betting systems for their online businesses. In 2014, Mr. Davey oversaw the initial public offering of NYX, and subsequently led the company through seven acquisitions which established NYX as one of the fastest growing global B2B real-money digital gaming and sports betting platforms.

Lloyd Danzig

Position: Founder & Managing Partner at Sharp Alpha Advisors

Lloyd is the Founder & Managing Partner of Sharp Alpha Advisors, a consultancy and advisory firm specializing in sports betting startups, venture capital, M&A, and technology.

He is also the Chairman & Founder of the International Consortium for the Ethical Development of Artificial Intelligence, a 501(c)(3) non-profit NGO dedicated to ensuring that rapid developments in the field of AI are made with a keen eye toward the long-term interests of humanity.

Lloyd is an accomplished TEDx speaker and a frequent guest on acclaimed podcasts, recently having appeared on AI in the WildThe Business of Betting PodcastGambleOnSports Predictor, and The Knup Sports Show. He is also the Co-Host of The AI Experience, a podcast providing an accessible analysis of relevant AI news and topics.

His advisory firm provides critical strategic guidance to startups, investors, and financial institutions in the sports gaming space while also serving as an independent touchpoint between the world’s most prominent gaming operators, suppliers, regulators, venture capital funds, and angel syndicates.

Lloyd serves as the Co-Chairman of the CompTIA AI Advisory Council, a committee of preeminent thought leaders focused on establishing industry best practices that benefit businesses while protecting consumers. He previously managed institutional portfolios for BlackRock, data science initiatives for Samsung, and Machine Learning engines for sportsbook operators.

Wayne Kimmel

Position: Managing Partner at SeventySix Capital

Wayne Kimmel is a sports tech venture capitalist, entrepreneur and author of Six Degrees of Wayne Kimmel.

He is the Managing Partner of SeventySix Capital, the venture capital company he founded in 1999, and invests in startup consumer facing tech companies in the sports tech, esports, and sports betting industries. Among the Fortune 500 companies that have acquired his portfolio companies are Aramark, Intel, IBM, Walgreens and Yahoo!

Wayne leads the SeventySix Capital Athlete Venture Group, which allows professional athletes to invest, learn, and work directly with top sports tech startups and entrepreneurs. Geoff Reiss

Geoff Reiss is the GM of Yahoo Sports. His career in media has spanned digital, print, television and live events and he’s helped shape some of the most innovative and successful media businesses in sports.

M. Neil Erlick

Position: Chief Corporate Development Officer at Nuvei

Neil Erlick is the Chief Corporate Development Officer at Nuvei, where he oversees strategic business development in key industry verticals, corporate partnerships, as well as enhancing the Company’s overall growth in the U.S. regulated gaming market.  Mr. Erlick spent nearly two decades in senior leadership roles at Paysafe Group, most recently having served as Executive Vice President of Business Development. Tammi Barlow

Position: Director of Responsible Gaming and Corporate Social Responsibility at Caesars Entertainment

Tammi Barlow is Director of Responsible Gaming and Corporate Social Responsibility for Caesars Entertainment (formerly William Hill US), the largest gaming entertainment company in the U.S In her role, Tammi organizes, communicates, and coordinates internal and external responsible gaming campaigns for the company, ensures responsible gaming compliance with regulatory requirements in various jurisdictions, supports internal business clients with compliance of responsible gaming regulations, and manages key relationships in the gambling treatment and advocacy community. In 2020, Tammi’s role was expanded to include diversity and inclusion, and community initiatives.

Before joining Caesars Entertainment (formally William Hill), for nearly nine years, Tammi was the Manager of Responsible Gaming and Corporate Social Responsibility for IGT. In her role, she managed CSR programs for more than 12,000 employees worldwide which included responsible gaming, sustainability, and community relations.

Keith S. Whyte

Position: Executive Director of the National Council on Problem Gambling (NCPG)

Keith S. Whyte became the Executive Director of the National Council on Problem Gambling (NCPG) in October 1998.  NCPG is the national advocate for programs and services to assist problem gamblers and their families.  .

Previously, Mr. Whyte served as Director of Research for the American Gaming Association where he was responsible for research and public policy issues, including problem gambling.  His additional experience includes the American Bar Association’s Section of Individual Rights and Responsibilities where he dealt with policy issues relating to civil rights, human rights, healthcare, and immigration law.  He began his career working on healthcare policy in the office of the Assistant Secretary for Planning and Evaluation at the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. Keith graduated from Hampden-Sydney College with a Bachelor of Arts in History and a Certificate in International Relations.  He also studied at Leiden University, the Netherlands.

Mr. Whyte has presented in 39 US states and 26 countries. He has written numerous articles, studies and book chapters on gaming issues.  In addition, Keith has testified four times before the United States Congress on gambling-related legislation.  He regularly discusses gaming issues in national and international print, radio and broadcast media

Bill Pascrell, III

Position: Partner at Princeton Public Affairs Group, Inc.

With a prominent career in state and federal public affairs, William J. Pascrell, III ESQ is more commonly known as BPIII, is a partner with the Princeton Public Affairs Group, Inc.  BPIII has worked as Counsel to the Governor of New Jersey, Chief of Staff for a member of Congress, and was Passaic County Counsel from January 1998-2019 with support from both sides of the political aisle.  As County Counsel, BPIII drafted and worked to get the Freeholders to adopt the toughest ethics code in New Jersey.  BPIII has held various positions on political campaigns at the federal and state level including New Jersey Governors James Florio, Jon Corzine, and Dick Codey.  Additionally, he has worked at a senior level on the Presidential campaigns of Bill Clinton, Al Gore, John Kerry, Hillary Clinton, and Barack Obama.

BPIII is a founder and sits on the Board of Freedom Bank, a federally and state-chartered New Jersey bank. Along with these distinctions BPIII also serves on the Board of Directors of the NJ Community Development Corporation, Habitat for Humanity, Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, North Jersey Country Club, and the United Way of Passaic County.

BPIII graduated in 1982 from Don Bosco Technical High School in Paterson, Rutgers University Cum Laude with a BA in 1986, Seton Hall Law School with a JD in 1989, and the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University with an MPA in 1992.  Bill was admitted to the New Jersey bar in 1990 and is a member of the bar in Washington DC and has been admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court.

In 1991 BPIII was selected as a delegate to the American Council of Young Political Leaders exchange program to Hong Kong, Taiwan, and China.  In 1992 he was also a Leadership NJ Fellow.

BPIII has worked on behalf of many industries in both Trenton, New Jersey, and Washington DC including Pharmaceutical, Petroleum, Energy, Transportation, Law Enforcement, Health Care along with major development projects.

In the area of gaming and casino, BPIII has various gaming interests throughout the United States, Europe, South America, Canada, and Israel.  His clients include Trump, Pinnacle, The AC Chamber of Commerce, The NJ Casino Association, Sportech, Playtech, Camelot Lottery, Hard Rock Casinos, IMEGA, High 5 Games, Global Betting Exchange, Cashbet, Ezugi, PickLive, Line Gaming Holdings, Game Sports Network, The New Meadowlands Racetrack, Liberty Rising Casino, The Atlantic Club Casino Hotel, OTG Management, Rational Services, Vote Yes on Sports Betting in NJ Coalition and Poker Stars.  He has become the state’s top expert with regards to internet gaming issues and has recently lead the campaign to pass an NJ Sports Betting law after a successful statewide referendum campaign which BPIII managed. BPIII is also Executive Director of the newly formed AI2G American Institute for i-Gaming which was founded to promote legal, regulated Internet gambling at the state, tribal and federal levels through education, research advocacy, and outreach to government and other key stakeholders in the United States.
